Samalamig @ Gastroville: The Best Sago’t Gulaman in Town

Samalamig @ Gastroville
The Best Sago’t Gulaman in Town

The best thing that ever happened
to the Gastroville re- invention,

…is adding a a juice bar aptly named Samalamig-
a true blue Pinoy street word for refreshments.

Aside from their delcious
and refreshing fruit juices,

...there are also delicious desserts

…like the iconic halo- halo,

...saba con yelo,

... and one should not miss their Sago’t Gulaman. This isn’t  the
usual fare made from brown sugar syrup. This has a creamy
crushed  ice with a consistency  similar to halo- halo,. There was
generous tapioca pearls and multi- colored gulaman at the bottom.

This Sago’t Gulaman could serve as a dessert
or let the ice melt to make it a refreshing drink

This is definitely the best sago't gulamam in town

The New Gastroville: Naga City’s Ultimate Foodie Destination

The New Gastroville
Naga City’s Ultimate Foodie Destination

There used to be two Gastroville Stations in Vistamall,
the first one serving various  international dishes,

…the second one serving
local and Asian Cuisine,

…but during the renovation, they consolidated
them into a single Gastroville station and built
it just beside the Paluto at All Day Supermarket.

The new Gastroville has a lively assortment,

…of both local,

…global dishes,

…in a one stop upscale food court.

Everything one is looking for is here,

…from street food,

…to Asian,

…American, and European specialties.

Gastroville offers a unique culinary experience-
.exclusively found in the eclectic Vista Malls.

Paluto Reinvented: The New and Improved Paluto

Paluto Reinvented
The New and Improved Paluto

All Day Supermarket had undergone
massive renovation after typhoon Tisoy

…and when they re- opened, it was a delight to
see that they re- invented the popular Paluto.

Together with our employees. we trooped
to Paluto for one of our post- work dinner.

There was a wide selection of fresh

...and even live seafood at the seafood counter,

…and a wide array of both
local  and imported meats.

Paluto ia a place where you can have
what  you bought, from the supermarket-

....cooked right before your eyes,

…to enjoy them fresh-from the market-

….and served steaming hot
directly to your dining plate.

And we feasted to some
of the most delicious-

… freshly cooked dishes,

…prepared to anything one could think of.

Added in the Paluto section are pre- cooked
ranging from assorted seafood barbecue,

and we tried them too.

There is also a chef’s choice corner, where
one  could have a choice to have a bulalo,

…or a kare- kare. and we tried both.

The centerpiece of Paluto is the whole roasted pig,
with an option to have it  cooked as lechon paksiw.

But why choose for an option?
We ordered  both and enjoy them both.

Indeed, Puluto is the best place to dine in Naga as the
food choices are not limited on what is on the menu.

The diner is the menu.
