The Pic du Jer is a 3,120 ft summit in the
Hautes-Pyrénées. in the city of Lourdes.

It is accessible by Funiculaire du Pic du Jer

…and ancient funicular train which

has been operating since 1900.

The funicular transports passengers to the peak,

…in a route that separates in two in the

middle  to enable the two trains to pass. 

  

 

 

It also travels through two

tunnels and over a viaduct.

Guests can hike to the summit at the higher station.

There is a restaurant, with tables and
benches on a terraced viewing deck,
