Themepark Disappointment
Old and Elegant Lyon Series 12
It was themepark break for the kids
and it was a long drive from Lyon
…to Les Avenières on a rented sedan.
....and we passed by some of the most scenic
...and bucolic French countryside.
It rained had that day and to our disappointment
Walibi Rhône-Alpes was close on a Monday and
we were told that they are only open on weekends.
Walibi Rhône-Alpes is a the largest
theme park of the Rhône-Alpes region.
The 35 hectares. park apparently has more than 33 rides
and also operates a waterpark called L'Île aux Pirates.
We were disappointed as we traveled
very far only to find the park closed.
We returned to Lyon-
... and decided to spend the day
shopping at The Village Outlet.
