A Travel back in Time
Old and Elegant Lyon Series 8 

The Lyon Medieval Festival traditionally
 takes place annually every May 18 and 19,

 

…when volunteers, including
professional artists and actors,

 

 

…come out to play a role in full medieval costumes
to bring the Middle Ages back to life in Vieux Lyon.



They wander through the streets, 

 

 to provide entertainment  by having street plays, 
horse  shows, jousts,  choreographed street combats,

 

…flag-twirlers,

 



…musicians and magicians.

 

 There are also booths dedicated to old trade-

 

 

...like bow-making, pottery and calligraphy.

 

 

The best of all, the festival gives you a chance to
 go food tripping on bygone food delicacies



..as there are booths selling 
dishes of the medieval era.

 

 



One will not need time machine to travel back 
to the past and experience the Middle Ages-

…all we need is to be in Lyon
for the Annual Medieval festival.
