Sweet Gallery by Jack’s Blue Plate Diner

Sweet Gallery
by Jack’s Blue Plate Diner

The kids were craving for the apple pies so off
we went to Jack’s Blue Plate Diner Magsaysay,

We found the Wi- Fi signal at the ground floor very weak
and the waitress suggested that we should move upstairs
as it is where the wireless internet signal is coming from.

The second floor is the newly opened coffee shop
called The Sweet Gallery by Jack’s Blue Plate Diner,

…and we were glad to learn that we could also order
the yummy Jack’s Blue Plate Diner dishes from here.

The internet signal was just as weak
but that was okay as we didn’t have to
wait long until they serve our dinner.

We started our dinner with a hot,
creamy and delicious Corn Soup.

My daughter ordered a huge Western Angus Burger.
It had a 100% juicy and thick angus beef patty, topped
with a layer of crunchy onion rings, sandwiched with
a firm hamburger buns  that does not get soggy despite
being bathed with tangy western style barbecue sauce.

It was served with fries and pickles.

Their popular and delicious breakfast fares
are available all day so my son ordered
a basic Pancake and Sausage breakfast,

…while my wife ordered an American Breakfast
that had two pancakes, two sunny side up eggs,
two bacon strips and a flat breakfast sausage.

We found the pancakes not as thick as those served in IHOP,

...and Denny’s but they were just as fluffy and just as tasty.

While I had Fried Prawns, which came as two
huge pieces of  breaded tiger prawns and frilled
to golden an crispy perfection bathed in mustard.

We ended our dinner with the delightful sweet treats.
A heavenly Choco- Caramel Cheesecake for me,

…the divine Apple Pies, (best served warm), but it was
served cold and still tasted good, for my wife and daughter,

…and my son had a great time dunking his huge
chocolate chip cookie that had a yummy buttery
aftertaste in a glass of supposedly warm milk, but
was served with fresh from the ref coldness.

Of course, we also enjoyed their complimentary
brewed coffee that went well with the sweet treats.

Despite the minor flaws on our dessert, and
having poor wi fi signal  we still had an awesome
dinner on our favorite American restaurant in Bicol.
