We treated our kids for

a wake boarding holiday in Nuvali

and we scouted for hotels in Filinvest,  Alabang-

 which is closer to Sta. Rosa in Laguna.

When I googgled the internet-

several hotels popped out on my screen.

The first was Bellevue- a great hotel

that we have stayed in the past.

 

Viviere, Praque Espana, Crimson Hotel –

 there were very few of them.

But what caught my attention

is the newest among the hotels in that area-

the Acacia Hotel.

I goggled for blogs and hotel reviews

 and found most of the reviews were very positive

and it was even awarded by Trip Advisor

with a Traveler’s Choice Award.

So I booked my family for a four day three night stay

in what is supposed to be their best room-

the Junior Suite that costs about 5,500/day thru Agoda.

Stay

We arrived at dusk after a nine- hour  road trip from Naga City

Tired, weary and exhausted we were rearing for a good night sleep.

The hotel lobby was very beautiful
and enormously impressive.

Subdued natural earth colors…

…collosal glass encased pillars simulating 
the massive trunks of acacia trees

reaching up the cathedral ceilings
 simulating the branches and bushy leaves

and lighted with pale shade blue 
representing the color of the sky.

It was a very modern hotel-

the staff was friendly 
and the check in was a breeze

And in few minutes-

 we were on our way to our room.

The Junior Suite had a foyer
at the entrance,

...where the complimentary fruits,
the refrigerator,
 and coffee maker are found.

 

It had a living room with a comfortable sofa

that could also be used as a day bed.

 

The room had  floor to ceiling panoramic windows

and since it is located at the corner of the building

it offered a very good view of the booming Filinvest City.

The king size bed was big enough

for all of us to fit it.

  
It had a gorgeous bathroom, 

…with a bath tub,

…spacious shower room

 

…had complete amenities

and luxurious toiletries

 

Connectivity wasn’t a problem.

It had a free fast wi- fi internet connection,

Two telephones- one in the room
by the bedside,

…and another one 
in the toilet.

It also had a huge

flat HD TV



and a very comfy study 
and working table

For a family of four the Acacia Junior Suite
has just the right size and right budget
for ordinary guests like us.

Acacia hotel has a well equipped gym,
with an outdoor lounge ,

… Jacuzzi, 

…and beautiful adult and kiddie pools,
 all located on the 3^rd floor.

 

But the since the kids came to Manila for wake boarding-

they showed no interest on the hotel’s benign looking attractions

and looked forward on being in Republic Wake Park as soon as possible.

Feast.

Acacia Hotel is very close to two major malls in Alabang-

the  Festival Mall and the Alabang Town Center

giving hotel guests have unlimited dining options.

The hotel also offers free shuttle services for these malls.

But there is really no need to go out to dine

as the Acacia Hotel has a superb in- house restaurant.

that offers a wide array of international cuisine.

Their dinner buffet only costs 990 pesos for adults

and had wide selection of local and international cuisine.

They heave several buffet spreads 
 that Totoy, our driver found overwhelming.

It is also such a joy
 to have you daily breakfast

at the hotel...





... as they have almost everything

you would need to energize  for the extreme day

at the nearby Nuvali’s Republic Wake Park.



From energy packed breads
and cereals,

...to typical Filipino fares
including the iconic protein packed taho,

...Oriental delicacies,

...fresh fruits
and assorted cheeses.

Acacia Hotel is a great budget hotel

 That offers superb 5 star accommodation

at unbelievably bargain 3 star hotel price.
