After arriving in Lourdes, together with my son
we looked for a grocery to buy some necessities
that we might be needing on the next four days.

 

We stumbled upon a Carrefour City Store,
a popular supermarket chain in France.

After buying groceries we saw a booth with traditional
French cakes and pastries I picked up Reflet de France’s 
Quatre Quarts Breton a traditional pound cake popular in 
Brittany. It was buttery delicious the reminded me on a more 
dense and compact version of our favorite chiffon cake

 

My son got a pack of Croquette Carrefour. 
The round croquette ball was perfectly crunchy
and had a sweetish, cheesy and creamy filling.

 

When I searched the net, I later learned that

Reflet de France is owned by the Carrefour group.

and been producing French culinary heritage  and

sold in their company owned Carrefour supermarkets.
