Although we did not get to watch a movie here,
I’m still writing a post about Cinema Majestic
as it is an important landmark in Lourdes, France.
Located right beside Hotel Majestic, this centuries
old cinema set on well preserved colonial building,
…it exhibits classic religious movies,
…still using traditional film rolls
played in analogue projectors.
In the advent of digital technology,
… Cinema Majestic is a respite from the prevalent
sex, gore and violence in modern day movies,
…and an awesome way to revisit and experience
our past thru wholesome religious themed movies.
