High Roller Experience at the Linque: Brightly Shimmering Splendor at 550 Feet (Fabulous Las Vegas Series 6)

High Roller Experience at the Linque
Brightly Shimmering Splendor at 550 Feet
(Fabulous Las Vegas Series 6)

Rising 550 feet above the vast landlocked, flat desert,
the  High Roller at the Linque, the world’s tallest
observation  wheel,  would give tourists a spectacular
bird's eye view of Las Vegas and the nearby suburbs.

Located at the back of Harrah’s Hotel, we walked our
way from the Venetian Hotel to the Linque, a lovely
strip mall that leads to this new and popular attraction.

We bought a ticket for four,

…and off we went to ride on one of its gondolas.

The high roller has 28 spherical cabins which
could accommodate up to forty passengers,
illuminated with dynamic multicolored  LED lights
at night, and completes a fullrotation in 30 minutes.

There are LED monitors inside the cabin that indicates
the altitude,  and intermittently interrupted by a male
host giving bits and pieces of trivia and information
about the high roller and even the view from below.

A nighttime leisurely ride at the High Roller
is an exhilarating and relaxing experience.

My family was treated to a 360 degree of
unobstructed view of glittering Las Vegas,

…and of the nearby suburbs, stretching out
in the horizon, as far as your eyes can see.

A night time helicopter ride at the strip, is a
popular but expensive attraction in Las Vegas,

...and for those who are traveling in an impoverished
budget  like my family and could not afford one,
