We had a day wasted as we did not expect that

Galeries Lafayette was closed on a weekend

We were hungry and no open restaurants in sight.

 

It was our second week in France, and we were

missing Filipino food. Seeing a McDonald’s

store at the Galeries Lafayette was such a relief.
 

McDonald’s is an American brand but it is one 
of  the most popular restaurants in the Philippines. 

 

 

It has endeared to most Filipinos that it reminds us
 of home whenever we see one when we are abroad.

 

I ordered Signature Burgers for me and my

daughter as we are both burger persons.

 

She had a Quarter Pounder,

….while I had a  Double Cheese Burger.

 

My wife who is a Fillet O’ Fish

fanatic ordered one for herself,

 

…while my son had a

Classic Cheese Burger.

 

We also had a box- full of Chicken McNuggets,

an all time family favorite which we shared.

 

No family dinner in McDonalds without

feasting on McCafé treats for dessert.

 

While everyone else gloriously gobbled up

Sugar Raised Donuts and Cronuts,

…my young son ended hid meal

with fave Choco- Chip Cookies,

…dunked in creamy warm milk.

A taste of home, in and American joint-

…nothing could ever go wrong.
