Hard Rock Cafe is a chain of Rock and Roll themed restaurant
and its huge, bright signage was the very first thing that caught my

attention when we arrived to check in at Melia Hotel in Yangon.

Hard Rock Cafe Yangon is located between two

five-star hotels, the Sedona and the Melia Yagon,

...and located on the fourth floor

roof-top of the Myanmar Plaza.



 

It was hard to believe it presence

to Yangon's tranquil environment, 

 

…and being Hard Rock Café enthusiasts, and having  been to  several  
branches in other countries, which I featured in this bog in the past,

^^^San Diego


^^^Orlando

…we were happy to see one in Myanmar.

 

Known for its iconic drinks like

the Pineapple Coconut Mojito,

 

…popular Potato Skins,

 

…addicting Classic Tacos,

 

…fan-favorite Legendary Burgers, 

 

…and humongous heavenly desserts.

 

 

These dishes however are not unique

to Hard Rock Café Yangon as the are

also found in other branches worldwide-

 

So one should never miss the Myanmar Chicken

as it is exclusively available in this restaurant.

A mildly spiced slow cooked aromatic chicken curry

infused with ground turmeric, garam masala and fish

sauce. The chicken was tender and gloriously delicious.

A must try and must eat dish to anyone dining here

as it is only served in this Hard Rock Café branch.

In addition to its food, it also has a souvenir shop that

sells collectible Yangon city specific Hard Rock Cafe

merchandise that can only be purchased at this location.

 

Hard Rock Café Yangon, just like any other Hard Rock Café

stores all over the world is worth a visit for Myanmar tourists.
