Breathtaking. That is how one would describe the stately
Avenue Plaza’s Boardroom who sees it for the first time.
That’s exactly what my colleagues from the University of Sto. Tomas
Hospital, Section of Endocrinology and Metabolism described the
boardroom when they first laid their eyes on this grand meeting room.
While I have been to the Avenue Plaza Hotel’s Boardroom
for so many times as this is the favorite venue for small
round table medical discussions for Naga based physicians,
…this is the first time for my non- Bicolano
peers to see this topnotch power chamber.
It is sometimes hard to believe that Bicol, being in
one of the poorest region in the Philippines would
have a grand and impressive- looking boardroom,
…fit only for the mightiest and most
dynamic first world cities in the country.
Luckily, we have one of the best board rooms
in the country right here in the heart of Bicol,
…and we have Avenue Plaza Hotel to thank for.
