Max’s Restaurant in one of the most endeared

restaurants in the Philippine and it is one of our

favorite dining destinations in SM City Naga.



We again had a chance to dine there several weeks

ago and we feasted on some of the most delicious

classic dishes served by this popular iconic restaurant

 

A plateful of crunchy, complimentary

Roasted Nuts  was served as appetizer.

The Soup of the Day was made of beef and

cabbage which was creamy and delicious.

Oriental Beef with Mushrooms has always been

our favorite dish in this restaurant. It is made of

a merry mix of stir fried tender beef, two varieties

of mushrooms (button and rate ear mushrooms),

Bagiuo beans and spiced with slices of ginger.

 

We love Max’s Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet

as unlike most versions where the fish fillets are

literally swimming in a sickeningly sweet sauce,

this one had just the right amount of sauce so the

fish fillet remains crunchy and not overly sweet.

We decided no to order rice anymore and

the Pancit Canton was a tasty alternative.

Of course, no meal is complete at Max’s without

its popular ‘sarap to the bones’ Fried Chicken,

…and we concluded our dinner with

creamy Frozen Fruit Salad for dessert.

A hearty feasting of Pinoy dishes at Max’s was

a pleasant conclusion to a rather busy weekend.
