It was on our third day in Orlando that we visited Magic Kingdom,

It was on our third day in Orlando that we visited Magic Kingdom,
and we all woke up early to catch to 8 AM free shuttle at
the hotel.
We were all excited as we were finally able to

…to Paris Disneyland
once,
…to Tokyo Disneyland
twice,
…to Hong Kong
Disneyland once,
…and this time- we are all ecstatic as we
are in Walt Disney
World Orlando at last.
The bus took us the WDW transport center
where we had the option to take the monorail,
…or the ferry boat on our way to Magic Kingdom.
We chose the latter-

...that took us to a 10- minute
leisurely scenic boat ride,
…to the Magic Kingdom
entrance,
...where we had our routine picture
taking, before entering the theme park.
Just like all Disneyland
Park, the WDW Magic Kingdom,
begins with the Main Street America that had the City Hall,
…the train station,
…the train station,
…and the main street lined with lovely
buildings with turn of the century architecture,
…leading to a courtyard plaza,
…in front of the Cinderella
Castle.
This area leads to the different zones of the Magic Kingdom
and it has always been our practice on all Disneyland Parks to
turn left and begin our park exploration at the Adventureland.
It is where the Swiss Robinson Family House
is located. It is the
counterpart to the Tarzan’s
We tried the Magic Carpets
of Aladdin
as this is something unique in Orlando,
and
not found in other Disney Parks in the world.
The WDW version of the
Jungle Cruise
I observed is bigger and grander here than
We also never fail to visit the Enchanted Tiki Room,
my wife’s favorite Disney attraction as she finds the
animatronic singing birds soothing and very relaxing.
The Pirates of the
Caribbean is also found on this
zone and we also found this attraction much bigger
and grander than those on other Disneyland Parks.
We visited the The Frontier Land next as it is right next to this zone,
where Tom Sawyer Island is located and accessible by a boat ride.
Two of our favorite classic Disney rides are
here; the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad,
…and the iconic Splash Mountain.
The bucolic Country Bear Jamboree show
a classic animatronic musical is also found here.
We ate a late but heavy lunch at the
Pecos Bill Tall Tale
Inn and Café,
…and watched the afternoon

Disney Magical Parade
later.
After the parade we went to Liberty Square,
...and watched The Hall of Presidents, a historical audio-

animatronics show featuring the past US presidents and
recently reformatted to include President Barack Obama.
We also braved the long queue at the Haunted Mansion,
my family’s another classic favorite Disney attraction,
..and marveled at Liberty
Square Riverboat,
which we decided not to ride anymore as we took
a similar steamboat on our way to the theme park.
From the Liberty
Square, we proceeded to
the Magic Kingdom
and tried our all- time
favorite attraction, the Peter Pan’s Flight.
Just in front, we almost did not recognize the
It’s a Small World
boat ride as this Orlando
version’s façade was unassumingly minimalist,
…as compared to its grandiose
counterparts in other Disney Parks.
Nearby was the 3D
movie Mickey’s PhilharMagic
and Dream Along With
Mickey musical stage show.
We skipped Prince
Charming Regal Carrousel,
…and went directly to the delightful ride of
The Many Adventures
of Winnie the Pooh,
…where my young son enjoyed the interactive
playground at the waiting area, that kept him and
the other ids entertained while lining up for the ride,
so they didn’t really mind the very long queue.
Just in front was the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
another attraction found only in WDW Orlando,
similar to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad but
a more sleek and smoother roller coaster ride.
We later decided to have a later after noon snacks
at the Pinocchio Village Haus Restaurant.
...and chanced upon the Ariel at Ariel’s Grotto while

queuing for Little
Mermaid’s Undersea Adventure.
Nearby was the Storybook
Circus, a section of Fantasyland
…where the kids had fun at
Dumbo the Flying
Elephant,
…and on the twisting, turning, daredevil, roller coaster
“flight.” at the
Barnstormer with the Great Goofini.
There was also a circus-themed waterplay area
called Casey Jr.
Splash ‘N’ Soak Station.
It as late in the evening when we left Fantasyland
and the park was closing in an hour, and we didn’t
have enough time to visit Tomorrowland anymore,
…but we were just in time to watch the colorful
Laser and Light Show
at the Cinderella
Castle,
…that precedes the spectacular Fireworks display,
...that concluded in a magnificent conflagration of
breathtaking display of colors lighting up the evening sky.
Three days later, I returned to the Magic Kingdom

with the kids after a day at the Typhoon Lagoon,
while my wife decided to stay and rest at the hotel,
We took a shuttle from the hotel,
to Disney’s Transportation
Center,
…then the Monorail,
…back to the Magic
Kingdom,
…and directly went to Tomorrowland.
It was already seven in the evening and we had
a very limited time so we decided to forgo the
Space Mountain
because of the very long queue.
We watched Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor a hilarious,
interactive comedy show inspired by Disney- Pixar’s
“Monsters, Inc.’ movie where we have a Fast Pass.
We then watched Stitch’s
Great Escape,
a hi- tech interactive alien experience show,
…and finished just in time for our Fast Pass
reservation at the Tomorrowland
Speedway .
We used our third and last fast pass privilege

at the Buzz
Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
and intergalactic interactive adventure also
Inspired by Disney Pixar’s “Toy Story 2.” and
this happens to be my son’s favorite attraction.
We have been to all the Disneyland Parks around the world
but we never tried riding the iconic Astro Orbiter. This is
the first time that we decided to try this outdoor spaceship
ride,
…and we got an extra treat of watching the magnificent
fireworks display while whirling up above Tomorrowland.
We then tried Tomorrowland Transit Authority’s
People Mover, a very smooth and relaxing train
ride that rolls through Tomorrowland’s attractions.
We concluded our night watching Carousel of Progress
the classic Disney audio-animatronics show through time.
It was past midnight when we left the park.
Tired and exhausted, we all went straight to bed for a much needed rest
as we would be visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios the next day.
