Holiday Inn, Disney Springs Orlando: Beautiful and Affordable Home at Walt Disney World (Walt Disney World Orlando Series 1)

Holiday Inn, Disney Springs Orlando
Affordable Home at Walt Disney World
(Walt Disney World Orlando Series 1)

We arrived late in the afternoon at the
Holiday Inn, Disney Springs Orlando,

…after a long haul trip from Naga City

...with an overnight stay in Manila,

… a stop over in Narita in Tokyo, Japan,

…another stop over in Atlanta Georgia,

…and we were finally in Floridas
Orlando airport early in the evening.

We took a taxi to Walt Disney World Orlando, where
Holiday Inn is located within the Disney Springs area.

It had a spacious, contemporary designed lobby, that looked
fairly new as this hotel had just recently undergone renovation,

There was an abundance of
comfortable and modern lobby seats ,

… a tour desk where guests could buy theme park tickets,
book for city tours and charge it to their rooms.

It also had an in- house Disney Souvenir Store,

...several computer units that serves as a business center where
guests could print airline tickets and boarding passes for free.

Check in was a breeze, and the people
at the front desk were friendly,

...who gave us Mickey ballpens,

...and a plastic pouch full of candies,

..and we were immediately on our way to our  room thru a
scenic elevator that had the view of the cavernous atrium

Our room is at the 8th floor of the tower wing,

This would be our home for the next seven days for the
first half of our2- week Orlando, Florida spring vacation.

Stay

Our suite, a  De Luxe Room was big and very spacious
and  had two twin beds, just enough for a family of four.
This maybe one of the most comfortable beds that we
have slept in a hotel that we have stayed in the past.

It had a comfortable bedside stool,

..a  flat screen TV,

..a working and reading desk.

…and spacious closet.

I had a modern coffee maker, a refrigerator, ice bucket,
that could be filled up from the nearby ice machine.

It had a beautiful and spacious toilet, with a nice bath tub,

…provided with basic amenities,
and sufficient toiletries.

The room had  floor to ceiling glass walls,
that opens to a balcony, that had  a view
of the vast Walt Disney World Orlando,

...specially of the nearby Disney Springs,

...of  the distant EPCOT,

...the hotel parking,

...and the lovely hotel swimming pool.

A room had only one landline phone at the bedside,

...but we were very happy with the  fast
and complimentary Wi Fi connection.

Stray

The Holiday Inn, Disney Springs  had a perfect location
for those who are visiting Walt Disney World Orlando
as it is right at Hotel Plaza Boulevard in Lake Buenavista,

...a walking distance to  the new Disney Springs Area.

It also offers a regular free shuttle to the nearby
WDW Themeparks, and Waterparks,

…and even other theme parks like
Universal Studios Orlando.

Play

Holiday Inn, Disney Springs had a
beautiful outdoor swimming pool,

…and a whirlpool,

….amidst a beautifully landscaped garden.

They also have a well equipped Gym
and I enjoyed it very very much,

...as I was able to exercise almost everyday, with no annoying gym
attendants bothering me, and the guests seem to be preoccupied
visiting the theme parks and giving them no time or leaving
them too tired, so I had the gym all for myself almost everyday.

With all WDW Theme parks just a short ride away by a free shuttle,
guests would never run out of places to play  and stray within the hotel.

There was also an arcade in the hotel,

…where kids could play classic arcade games.

Feast

Palm Breezes Restaurant

The breakfast buffet is served at this beautiful
café located at the hotel’s cavernous atrium
that shows Disney movies at dinner time.

They have a decent spread in the buffet, although
not massive but definitely a step up from typical
continental breakfasts given it other budget hotels

Our hotel reservation did not include breakfast,

…and it was good as it gave us more flexibility to choose from
the numerous restaurants in the nearby Disney Springs.

Still, we found ourselves dining in the hotel almost
every night as we found the food very delicious

Palm Breezes Lounge

This lobby lounge is a nice place to unwind,

…relax for a drink or two.

Artisan Collection by Farmer Brothers

Artisan Collection is a deli that sells ready to go sandwiches,
ice cream, various drinks and even pre- packed lunch and dinner.

There are also numerous vendos at the hotel, where
guests  could buy tasty, ready to eat, snacks and drinks.

Holiday Inn, Disney Springs Orlando is a wonderful
and  affordable hotel for families traveling on a budget.

It is a official Disney partner hotel,
where one can buy theme park tickets,

…and even shop for authentic Disney
souvenirs at the Disney Shop at the lobby.

It had a perfect location for those visiting  Walt Disney World, as
it is located at the Hotel Boulevard a short walk to Disney Springs,

…and offers  a free shuttle to WDW Themparks.

It also has an excel;lent restaurant.

The best thing in this hotel is having an  affordable
self- service laundry area so guests could travel light.

It has a clean, beautiful, well- designed
spacious and comfortable suite rooms,
and the beds are very comfortable.

Holiday Inn Disney Springs is not a luxury hotel,
but  it is also not a grubby motel accommodation.

It is a budget hotel the would give you
comfortable rooms that are clean and fresh,

…and everything about them is good,
without having to spend a fortune.
