Garden Wing Shangri-La Suite
Luxury At It’s Best
Edsa Shangri-La is my family’s favorite hotel and
our home away from home whenever we are in Manila.
There is not a year that we have not stayed here
…and I have already reviewed almost all the rooms
in this hotel in this blog, pre and post renovation.
This time however, I am reviewing the
fabulous Garden Wing Shangri-La Suite.
Stay
Located at the rear rounded tip of the hotel's Garden Wing,
this is probably one of the biggest rooms Edsa Shangri La.
It has a very spacious living room
with classic Gregorian design.
There was a huge, sofa bed,
…which could turn into
an extra queen sized bed,
… in front is a huge flat screen TV,
with superb audio/video system.
There was a working/ study table on one corner,
…provided with adequate office supplies,
…and varied electrical outlets that would fit
any electronic gadget from all over the world,.
The a mini bar was at the portal
… and with a well stocked mini- refrigerator.
It had a panoramic window with a vie
of the pool and the hotel’s leisure area.
The Bedroom was just as spacious
also with classic Gregorian touch.
There was a humongous king sized bed,
that could sleep four persons comfortably
...which comes with a pillow menu.
There was large flat screen LCD TV,
…and another working/ study table
that served as our vanity area.
There was a floor to ceiling panoramic windows that
provide a view of the hotel’s resort like leisure facility,
and the skyline of the booming Ortigas Center,
The was a spacious walk in closet-
…provided with all extra amenities,
…to make our stay homey
and extra- comfortable.
The best part of the suite room
is the huge, luxurious bathroom.
It had a high tech comfort-height toilets that are taller
than regular toilet bowls, making it easier for the elderly
or anyone with debility to sit down and stand back up.
It was also equipped with a self cleaning device,
a heated seat and a Toto's Washlet toilet with
integrated bidet with soothing aerated spray.
There was Jacuzzi,.
... with an awesome view of the booming Ortigas center.
if you're daring enough to open the window shades .
The shower serves as a sauna
and steam bath at the same time.
The bathroom had abundant
supply signature of toiletries,
…and lots and lots of
fresh smelling towels.
Connectivity is not a problem as
it had a free fast Wi Fi internet,
There were three land- line phones,
the first one in the living room,
…another one by the bedside,
…and a third one on the bathroom.
This fact is taken- when id come to luxury, comfort,
affordability and awesome guest services, nothing
can beat a Shangri-la Hotel wherever it may be.
This post is just a room review.
