Clean, Delicious and Affordable 

While majority of hotels featured on this blog are

4 to 5 star hotels, here and abroad, I am featuring

Sogo Hotel for the third time. This is maybe the hotel

chain with the most maligned reputation in the country,

but its Naga City branch continues to fascinate me. 



I have blogged about its themed rooms

like the Pirate Room that appeared like

theme park room at the Legoland Hotel,

…and the sleek James Bond 007 themed room.

We stayed in those rooms during a typhoon for

shelter, and we also fell in love with the food.

 

So we returned to dine few weeks later,

…and finally decided to host our annual Christmas Party

for our employees and house hold staff at Sogo Hotel Naga.

 

They offer some of the most affordable party buffet for

as low as 2,500 pesos for 20 persons for a 6 course meal,

…that included a tasty Bird’s Nest Soup,

…perfectly fried and crispy Pork Chops,

…savory and tasty Lumpia Sanghai,

…classic homestyle Fried Chicken,

…and the very delicious Spicy Fish Fillet.

Also included is the bottomless Iced Tea,

…and we were allowed to bring drinks and dessert fares 
at no extra cost as they did not charge corkage fee.

We had the function room for ourselves,

…it was clean, tidy and spacious.

 

It also had a good sound system,

…and a fully functional karaoke,

that we could use for free.

Sogo Hotel Naga function room is an awesome

venue and ideal for small gatherings and parties,

…as it is clean, comfortable,

and very affordable as well.
