Dutch Kitchen at Schiphol

Dutch Kitchen

Feast
Traditional Dutch Cuisine

The non- stop rain in Amsterdam
prevented us from going out to dine…

So we took most of our meals
at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel’s
City Café- which offered delicious
but regular hotel fares…

Although we also dined
in several restaurants in Damrak St.,

…most  of these were Argentinean Restaurants
which are pretty common in Amsterdam,

…and they served great steaks-
but none of them served traditional Dutch Cuisine…

Luckily on our way back to the Philippines
we found a Dutch Restaurant
at the Schipol Airport

So we decided to dine there
to try an authentic Dutch Cuisine

My son ordered tasty
Mini- Pancakes...

My wife ordered Fish and Chips
her all time favorite which she orders
wherever we are in any part of the world
from Bondi Beach to CWC, Cam Sur to LA-

This time she comforted herself
with  the Dutch version of Fish and Chips.

My daughter ordered a Giant Organic Burger
which she gobbled up with gusto...

While I got myself a pair of juicy
Amsterdam Croquette on country bread.

Dutch Kitchen is located in Schipol Airport
which luckily is a hub for most European destinations-

....making it very accessible
and we could always look forward
for a good old Dutch cooking,

....while traveling to other European countries
even if we’re not headed for Amsterdam.

It's a virtual case of eat and fly
of good old traditional food-
not fast food.
