Villa Caceres Gastronomy 

Three of the best places to dine in Naga City
are in- house restaurants of Villa Caceres Hotel.

RJ’s Buffet, definitely the most extensive buffet

not only in Naga City but for whole Bicol as well.

Anne’s Poolside Restaurant where one

could feast on awesome boodle meals,

…and of course, Rolando's Café  that offers

some of the best Filipino and Chinese dishes.

 

We returned to Rolando once more as we missed

the food and ordered Sinigang na Sugpo. This is

one of our favorite dishes in this restaurant as the

prawns are huge and plump and the soup was so

delicious and just had the right degree of sourness,

 

We loved the hale Fresh Lumpia as the veggies

appeared garden-fresh and were crisp and crunchy,

like they have just been plucked from the garden.

The Tortang Talong was just

as fresh and just as delicious.

We never fail to order Sweet and Sour Fish

whenever we dine here as we are always

craving for this yummy Rolando’s version of

this deliciously sweet and tangy Chinese dish.

 

Rolando's Cafe is one restaurant where we could 
actually  leave with  totally clean plates as the food 
is so good and we would end eating everything up.  

 

 Villa Caceres Hotel is the place to dine for

the best gastronomic choices in the city.

We enjoyed the exotic dishes the first time we dined
at Padi’s Bistro but we made a mistake of asking them

to chop the Fried Itik as there were lots of chopped fine

bones making delicious exotic bird too dangerous to eat.

 

We returned once more and ordered what was

supposedly a Boneless Bangus, as mentioned

in the menu,  we were serve a perfectly fried

fish that was not deboned so no one touched it.

The Adobong Kambing was no different.

It was so delicious but laden with lethally

fine sharp bones making the dish inedible.

While Padi’s Bistro serves delicious the exotic food,

but some of the dishes are potentially dangerous to eat.

We arrived late in the afternoon Tryp by Wyndham MOA
after a short fourty- five minutes flight from Naga City.



Tryp by Wyndham MOA had
a concierge at the entrance,



…and one had to take the escalator



…to the moderately sized hip Pinoy
travel- inspired designed modern lobby.





Check in was a breeze,and the people 
at the front desk were friendly,



...and we were immediately
 on our way to our room-

 

....at the 6^th floor.

 

Stay 

Our suite, Premium Twin Room 
had two nice and comfy twin beds,
enough for a family of four to fit in.

 

 It had a nice bay window that
could also serve as an extra bed.



There was an elongated
wooden ledge in front-

 

…that serves as an all in one, unified
vanity area, working and reading desk,



… as a counter top for the minibar.



Right below the counter
is a personal refrigerator,

…and up above was the flat, widescreen digital TV.



The room was provided with
 medium sized closet,



.i..with really nothing much in it.

  

 It had rather small basic toilet and shower area



… provided with adequate toiletries.







The room had only one
landline phone at the bed.



We were very happy with the very fast
and complimentary Wi Fi connection

.Stray 

Tryp by Wyndham MOA is located
few blocks away from the Mall of Asia,



…and offers a free hour shuttle to
one of the biggest malls in Manila.

 

Play 

Tryp by Wyndham MOA has
a  roof top swimming pool.

 

…overlooking the scenic Manila Bay.



It also has a modern and well equipped gym.



Feast 

Milagritos

Milagritos is the hotel’s only in house restaurant



 …that serves a decent spread of breakfast buffet,



…and delicious ala carte dishes the rest of the day.

within walking distance to the  SM Mall of Asia.



It has a sleek, contemporary
comfortable modern suite rooms,



…with awesome rooftop pool, that offers a breathtaking 
view of the scenic, albeit smelly Manila Bay.



It is a hotel for those looking for a  budget,
no frills, basic accommodation on Manila.
